Kalamış apartment — library and study wall

An oak library for 1,400 books with a window seat and a hidden study niche; 28 mm shelves sized for deflection.

We measured the owner’s books shelf by shelf: 34 metres of shelving were needed. The load goes to the floor; the wall only carries anti-tip fixings.
